The 'Tow Bar'Outstanding Rice vintage horse box trailer, professionally converted to a fully working bar. Full strip out and re-build to a very high spec.
This has been designed by us to serve any drinks efficiently and to maximise profit. Everything has been thought through to enable a smooth running bar operation.
The horse box was fully stripped out and sandblasted inside and out. The flooring has been replaced with commercial grade, easy cleanable flooring that will withstand the rigours of a busy bar.
Also fitted professionally by Chester Towbar & Trailer Centre were the following:
2 x new 1300 kg axles, Bradley 2750kg braked Delta Couplings, all new cabling, brakes, brake rod. Also has only done 100 miles since a full trailer service from the same place and everything was made perfect. In short, it tows perfectly on a new chassis, stops with new brakes and all electrics work as they should.
All of the interior was bespoke fabricated in steel to hold shelves, fridges, draught beer equipment and has been very cleverly thought through. It was designed by a bar company with years of experience, rather than to look pretty with minimal functionality.
Lighting - Plenty of interior lighting & exterior LED spots, ceiling lights, undercounter and recessed LED uplighting for gin or similar bottles.
Draught - Space for 2 handpulls to serve bitter/ale and space for a pin or cask. We will also include a mobile draught system capable of serving lager or cider.
Fridges - New triple fridge with LED lights and easy to control temperature.
Electrics - Plenty of sockets and lighting (far more than you'd ever need throughout). Connects in seconds to a 16 amp socket and all power runs through a consumer unit. Runs on either 240 mains or generator electrics with leisure battery and built in trickle charger.
Woodwork - All bespoke and very solid. Finished to a light rustic oak finish and the main customer facing bars are finished with very tough yacht varnish. They fold back on themselves with a bar hinge and are ready in seconds.
Hatches - Forget all of the conversions with a single hatch and ramp. This has 2 hatches (with snail hinges) connected to gas struts that are easy and lightweight to use. You can have 3 staff working efficiently and can serve a very decent volume of people, meaning very profitable. The rear door also opens and is perfect for loading and unloading in volume. There is also a lockable side jockey door for normal use in service.
Water - Sink unit built in and connected to 12 volt battery. Simply connect fresh and waste water containers (supplied).
Waste - A clever shoot has been installed onto one of the walls. You simply add an exterior bin and post the bottles or waste into it.
Shelves / Storage - All designed to accommodate the correct size of bottles and have useful storage.
Wine glass / flute holders - Attached onto the ceiling so you can easily access wine glasses or flutes. Works with either plastic, glass or polycarb.
Comes complete with fire extinguishers, fire blanket, notes safe and details for insurance if required.
The 'Tow Bar' is also Data Tagged with visible ID numbers and many hidden Datadots. The form is also ready to transfer ownership and can be done online with Datatag.
Business - We've run mobile bars for many years and can help with many aspects of running your business (if you need help of course).
Profit - The bottom line for any business. How much can you (realistically) earn?
Margins are very high and drinks are very profitable.The demand for mobile bars is still very strong and if you need help then I have the experience to do so.
Why are we selling 'The Tow Bar'? We've re-located to rural Mid-Wales and want a slower pace of life now. We're still continuing to run bars, but on a much smaller scale. As mentioned, plenty of advice is available and we can show you where to source bookings. The only part that this will not come with is logo rights as we're retaining the business and the logo will need removing at some point. Payment by bank transfer is preferred, although cash (or a combination) is possible. Card (debit & credit) payments are possible too, but please ask first.
