Vintage Horse Box Bar - East Midlands
Description
Outstanding vintage horse box trailer, professionally converted to a fully working bar. Full strip out and re-build to a very high spec. The horse box was fully stripped out and converted with a full strip out and finished with a luxurious wood panelling inside and out by JCW Designs. The flooring has been replaced with commercial grade, easy cleanable flooring that will withstand the rigours of a busy bar.
The bar also comes with additional panelled sections that quickly bolt onto the ramp to provide additional serving space and the second 4 line facet to be used.
Trailer was last serviced in September 2023 with all drum brakes and handbrake checked and tensioned.
The overall finish gives the bar a rustic and one of feel that makes it stand out from the crowd.
The 4 line cooler is cleverly hidden behind panelling with in keeping metal and wooden shelves which a complimented by the carriage style lighting and warm light bulbs.
Lighting - the interior lighting sets off the mood and style of the bar with their rustic feel and charm, complimented by under shelf strip lighting.
Draught - the bar operates with either one or two 4 line copper faucets, allowing for 4 separate draft lagers/ciders to be sold. The system would allow simultaneous serving on all 8 (2 of each keg), if the need arises.
The beer lines run through the 4 line cooler to the facets, which is served by the cleverly run beer lines that run within the bar to the outside connection point. From there the 4 way serpent is connected to the bar, gas and kegs.
Storing and stacking the kegs and gas bottle outside ensures no compromise on comfort and serving space.
Fridges - Triple fridge with internal LED lights that can be turned off leaving the fridges still on.
Electrics - Plenty of sockets and lighting served by their own consumer unit and individual RCDs. (all on board electrical items last PAT tested late 2023).
Several power cables allow the bar to run off and 16amp or 240v connection.
Woodwork - the bar and additional (ramp sections) sections are all finished to a high quality and was all Danish oiled in mid 2023.
The same theme is continued internally with complimentary chequered plate finish to all work surfaces within and metalled angle beads.
Hatches - the bar benefits from the main serving hatch which is fitted with gas struts, there is additional side ramp (to the same side) that would allow independent orders to be taken.
Finally, there is the main tear ramp that can be opened or as we prefer, used to formalise an extension to the bar with the additional sections and second 4 line beer faucet.
Lastly to the non serving side is an access door.
The number of doors and serving options allow for orders to be taken, the two faucets to be manned and a cashier all within the bar, enough to maximise any event!
Water - Sink unit built in and connected to 12 volt battery. Simply connect fresh and waste water containers (supplied).
Shelves / Storage - All designed to accommodate the correct size of bottles. The spirit bottle shelf lies directly behind the main faucet allowing full view of stock.
There is separate shelfs within allowing for storage of plastic / polycarb glasses etc, allowing easy and convenient reach.
Comes complete with fire extinguishers, fire blanket, notes safe and details for insurance if required.
SECOND BAR - Yes there is one.
The second bar is for indoor purposes, think wedding evening receptions.
It's a modular bar consisting of a front, two sides (all in the same wooden panelling as the main bar) with an aluminium finished bar top. There are 3 of these, so this bar could be in a ratio of 1, 2 or 3 bars all together, to suit the venue size or size of party.
The internal bar comes with its own, 4 line cooler and two brass 4 line faucets (separate from the main bar) and 3 serpents that again would allow all 8 pumps to be pulled simultaneously.
Ancillaries - there are an abundance of cables and extension leads, a cash box and a card reader +2 contact less pads and many many more.
Profit - The bottom line for any business. How much can you (realistically) earn?
Margins are very high and drinks are very profitable. The demand for mobile bars is still very strong and if you need help then I have the experience to do so.
Feel free to ask any sensible questions, but please no silly offers. The bar would pay for itself, realistically in 4 or 5 events. Thanks
